Montréal native, Dr. Élise DesChamps is currently on faculty at the University of Iowa, where she is also voice area head. She holds degrees from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Ohio State University, and the Montréal Conservatory. She is a sought-after vocal artist and guest clinician. Her current areas of research include the songs of French composer Pierre-Max Dubois.
